My husband likes tabletop games, he likes them so much he started creating his own and being able to sell them with Osprey Publishing. He already had one come out in 2020, Men of Bronze. Well, he couldn't stop there. lol.
Eric always had a dream to be a published author when he was younger. His goal was to be one before he was 50. Well, he achieved that goal. But why in the world is Oreo, our cat painting miniatures if this blog post is about Eric and tabletop games? Well, this is a blatant push for Eric's new game he has coming out in November of 2021, Wars of the Republic.
Usually when Eric is working on books, he likes to test his games, which makes sense, he doesn't want a book published that has horrible rules. However, he also likes to have painted miniatures on the table so he can post them in his personal blog. He does not really enjoy painting though, he actually wishes he could buy all of his miniatures painted, but alas we don't have that kind of money. lol. So when he paints his miniatures he usually paints them in our living room while our daughter and I do our own things. This can range from watching movies, playing video games or just playing on our telephones. But of course, our cat Oreo has become a reoccurring guest star in Eric's Instagram posts, and the reason is because whenever he plays, paints or does any games she always tries to jump on the table and do it with him.
I swear, one of these days I'll get her her own paint set, and start selling her work. But, until then, you'll just have to enjoy seeing her on Eric's Instagram.
